FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
When Should a Shipper Use a Freight RFP?
A shipper should consider a freight RFP when evaluating recurring transportation lanes, changing providers, sourcing additional carrier capacity, opening new facilities, rebidding existing business, or developing a larger transportation program. A one-time shipment generally does not require a formal RFP. Shippers pricing an individual shipment can instead submit the specific load details through Buchanan Logistics' Rate Request process.
