Our Founding Vision

Buchanan Logistics was established by Geary Buchanan, a former truck driver with 24 years of hands-on experience in the transportation industry and the founder of Buchanan Hauling & Rigging. Geary’s mission was clear: build enduring business relationships, create high-quality jobs, and deliver unmatched service to every client.

From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader

Our journey began in 1996, initially focusing on flatbed and open deck transport. Responding to our customers’ evolving needs, we quickly grew our service portfolio to include:

To further address complex shipping demands, we launched Buchanan Specialized, our hazmat division, which combines advanced employee training with cutting-edge safety technology to safely handle specialized freight.
