How to Send an NOA to Buchanan Logistics
To send a Notice of Assignment (NOA) to Buchanan Logistics, Inc., email the document to freightpay@buchananlogistics.com.
A Notice of Assignment is a document sent by a carrier's factoring company to notify Buchanan Logistics that the carrier has assigned its right to receive payment for qualifying freight invoices to the factoring company. Once the NOA is accepted and on file, payments covered by the assignment are directed to the factoring company rather than to the carrier.
NOAs are commonly used in freight factoring and are not, by themselves, a debt collection notice or an indication that a carrier is experiencing financial trouble. They help establish where assigned invoice payments should be sent and can help prevent payments from being directed to the wrong party.
