On Friday, a group from Buchanan embarked on a mission to deliver over 200 school bags filled with essential school supplies and donated items such as shoes and toothbrushes. Their objective was to provide much-needed items to local low-income families. The team decided to begin their journey at Adams Elementary School. They were warmly received by the teachers and administrators, who eagerly assisted in unloading the donations.
After leaving Adams Elementary, the group made their way to Scott Academy across town. Once again, they were met with enthusiasm and gratitude for the generous contributions of the Buchanan staff. As the school year approaches in the area, these items will make a significant impact on children in need. Our staff is already making plans for future assistance and support.
